Early REGENT Backer Stan Little Named Chairman of The Twenty Five

Aviation Week, June 16, 2026 — Stan Little, founder and CEO of Southern Airways Express, has been named chairman of The Twenty Five, the luxury coastal mobility company preparing to launch service on REGENT’s all-electric Seagliders. Little built Southern Airways from three aircraft and five pilots into the largest commuter airline in the United States, and took it public on the New York Stock Exchange.

His connection to REGENT runs back to 2021, when Southern Airways became the first company to place a deposit-backed order for the Rhode Island startup’s wing-in-ground-effect craft — seven vessels, placed before most of the industry was paying attention.

Aviation Week reports Little’s view that Seagliders may find an easier path to public acceptance than other advanced air mobility concepts: the Viceroy flies roughly 30 feet above the surface, stays close to the water throughout, and carries significant redundancy in its design.

The Twenty Five holds a purchase agreement for up to 60 Seagliders and has advanced plans for its first routes, among them Boston to Nantucket and Palm Beach to Miami, with deliveries expected from 2027. The appointment coincides with the company’s shift from platform development into active deployment.
